Tiktok Blocked In USA: Reminiscent Of Carter vs Reagan "October Surprise" Hostage Crisis

Jan 19, 2025

DISCLAIMER: some of the following is presented as theory, and those paragraphs not cited should be treated as such.

The news is out: for the first time, an app has been blocked for USA.

Users report a single message upon opening their app:

Far as I'm aware, this has never happened before. An app being blocked for all of USA.

And under the auspices of "national security".

Those two words alone appear to hold an almost a magic spell-like power since 9/11.

Once invoked, it appears some power players believe our rights can be gently swept away.

As if they never were.

Was extremely disappointed in the Supreme Court ruling - that a ban of an app was somehow "legal".

There is no clause for this in the Constitution of which I'm aware of (if missing something, please inform me)

And I have a theory on this - we will see how this one plays out.

POLITICS: ALWAYS HAS A SMELL

IRAN HOSTAGE CRISIS / OCTOBER SURPRISE

Americans were held hostage in Iran.

Talks from the Carter administration appeared to be going no where.

Back in the 1980's, Jimmy Carter was running for re-election.

Reagan, the party of his opposition, also running for President.

Things weren't run quite as clean as the Reagan campaign would have liked us to believe - he was a Hollywood actor after all. Much like the actors of today's politics.

Whether Boris Johnson, Trump, or Argentina's Millei -- drama, theatrics, and hyperbolic threats. There are few limits among the great stage.

"All The World's A Stage."- Shakespeare

And just for balance, I could certainly say the same of many politicians on the left. Either they are too powerless by fear under the grip of a fascist oligarchy to make change, or a secondary part of the act.

HOSTAGE CRISIS

In more recent years, it became quite apparent that Reagan campaign made a secret backroom deal with the Iranians.

That deal, was said to prevent the release of American hostages until Carter was out of office.

SOURCE:

For a long time, this was said to be merely the rumors of a bitter party. Those who lost the election.

Later on, one of the actors in this deal came out to finally let the world know the truth:

It wouldn't be the only time a deal like this has been struck.

In fact, mainstream reporting claimed there was a phone call between Trump and Netanyahu, to delay a ceasefire in Gaza to help Trump win the election against Kamala Harris.

NOTE: Now, some fact checkers claim this as unproven. I had originally read it in the Israeli press. Doesn't prove it happened... But stranger things have happened...

Back to the Iran hostage crisis.

The Iran hostage crisis story is very real. And goes to show the lengths at which politicians will go in order to secure a win.

Not only to merely achieve a win, but to gain broad support in that very same brush stroke.

Apparently this deal involved former head of CIA, William Casey -- who later met a suspicious end in a shallow water canoe accident. Not too long after offering in depth audio recorded interviews for a tell-all book on Vietnam (he may very well have drowned, but there is no doubt some were not happy with the interviews).

The deal was set to delay release of the Iranian held hostages, in return for unfreezing Iranian assets, using the Israelis as an intermediary, to supply Iran weapon parts.

Nothing is ever quite what it seems, now is it? [SOURCE]

I'd say the same type of election psyop could very well be happening here - in theory, allowing Trump to become the "hero", once inaugurated into office, magically mending the tiktok block. Restoring access to the USA, and gaining widespread support - from a largely left-leaning base.

The CEO of Tiktok appears to be quite cozy with the incoming President.

So much so, he has special seating at the official inauguration ceremony, and has posted multiple pieces of content showing favor.

What do you think? Is this timing coincidental, or is something deeper at play?

I'd love to hear your thoughts. πŸ™‚
